Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Intermittently my guages will go off, to include speedo, tach, odom and warning lights such as check
engine and emergency brake but the illuminating lights stay on. I tried adjusting the steering wheel
hoping for a loose wire but that doesn't seem to be it. The guages will come on when they feel like it, then
go off again with no time pattern or temp pattern. Anybody have any ideas?
