1998 bmw z3 1.9

My mechanic had to replace a water line he had to remove the intake to get to it  he disconnected  the battery he  fixed the line put back together now  it want start has no spark no fuel but it turns over. It's like the anti theft is activated. Help please

Get rid of the mechanic,find a good technician.
