I have a 2005 cavalier that will crank and idle fine but when I give it gas itspitts and sputters and will try to stall. If I push the gas 3/4 down it clears up. The check engine light is on. 16 Answers

I have a 1997 cavalier. I was riding down the road last week my car was running fine. When i came to a red light my car died, but started right back up. When i tried to give it gas it would would die. 1 Answer

it still starts but when i put it in gear it just dies. IVe only changed the the fuel filter and checked the injectors and the injectors are fine. I dont wat else it could be someone please help.
