Check coolant level

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Display comes on periodically.  Checked and red indicator is where it should be.  What is
the problem?  Water/coolant is full.  Temperature gauge inside directly in center.

You say red indicator is 'where it should be". You do mean it comes way up when you take the cap off..cold? If indicator float is even with top, it's low on coolant. It should stick way up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwpD6C55cLc

While the car is hot open the the coolant and the stick is all the way up
