Push the button that opens the screen like if you were going to insert a cassette, while open and under the screen, with care introduce your fingers and find out a ribbon connector, move it "very carefully" up and down. Close the CD door and try it again. Most of the time is just a bad connection between the ribbon and the circuit board. I had a bad screen issue and a non responsive radio, the dealer wanted to charge north of $2,000.00 to fix the problem. So I decided to fix it myself, and after tearing apart the whole NAV screen system and checking carefully the circuit board, I found that the issue was very easy to fix since I could have fixed it by the method I am describing above. Good luck
