Had clutch replaced on .99 Chevy Cavalier at 185,000 mi.about 3 mos. ago. If the pedal is not jammed into the carpet, it won't go into gear. How can that be corrected?

Had clutch replaced on .99 Chevy Cavalier at 185,000 mi.about 3 mos. ago. If the pedal is not jammed into the carpet, it won't go into gear.  How can that be corrected?

sounds like the clutch needs to be bled out.. bleed the clutch like you would your brakes making sure to keep the master cylinder full
