My '85 Celica,5sp. convertible has 87K miles and is in excellent ondition. Is $8,500 agood price?

The car has no rust and I am the second owner. I have to sell it. I have heard prices from $1500 to $18000. What is a good price...considering it will be a classic in two years?

Sorry to say, none of the mid-80s cars of any make are really considered Classic yet. If you can get $8500, more power to you, but I honestly believe you will find that the prices won't top $4000. To most of the current car-buying generation, these are just old cars. They haven't really and probably will never hit the level of the 1960s muscle cars.

Yes I have seen these cars as low as $500.00 to a high of $18,000.00. A car with these miles and presumably nice interior and point is worth somewher between 3,000.00 to maybe $4,000.00. If you find someone that will buy it for $8500.00 please call me with their name and number ..... I havea bridge for sale as we speak... its called the Bay Bridge in MD.
