How much is my restored 1983 Toyota Celica GT-S worth?

Asked by W2JAK Feb 14, 2019 at 03:53 PM about the 1983 Toyota Celica GT-S Hatchback

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 1983 Toyota Celica GT-S with 141,900 miles on it. I'm the original owner. It
has been restored and looks beautiful inside and out. Kept garaged and covered
100% of the time.

I've modified it as follows:

Panasonic stereo AM/FM CD player with remote
control and amplified dual subwoofer in back (removable).
Grant GT removable steering wheel.
Clifford security system.
Electric air horns (for collision avoidance).
Front air dam.
3/4 racing cam.
Vacuum reserve canister.
Koni shocks.
Tokiko coil springs and sway bars.
Doug Thorley heat wrapped tri-y headers.
2" Free flow aluminized exhaust.
K&N air filter.

It has a few problems:

Hasn't been started in 6 years (ran beautifully when last driven).
Needs new battery.
Needs fuel system flushed, fuel filter, oil changed and oil filter.
Passenger side electric rear view mirror not operating.

How much is she worth in present condition?

1 Answer

The value is really hard to say. Get it running and it will be worth considerably more.
