how to reset a 99 Chevrolet blazers security system

we replaced the steering column and now it starts but shuts right down! I think the security is not reading cuz of the new key..... ecm and bcm are not co insiding.... possibly....!!

Sounds like the car is not reading the new column u minght to have it recoded to read it

Can I ask you what you did to resolve this problem. I am having the same problem, including the new steering column. I'm at a total loss for the next step. Thanks
