1986 Toyota Camry

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

We have access to a 1986 Toyota Camry that has 297,243 miles on it. It was my sons fathers car, who has passed away. Do you think it would be worth paying probate court cost of 125.00 to get this in my sons name? The car does run and body has some rust on it. We drove it from Adams Cty, Ohio  to Warren Cty Ohio. It did ok. What do you think?

Most cars that will go up a hill are worth more than $125. If it was in decent driving condition before, it still is.

If the car is in good running condition and was always maintained then it is a better choice than buying a used car that you dont know how it was maintained. How bad is the rust problem, are the brakes and tires good, no belching smoke coming out of the tailpipe or unusual noises coming from the the engine if non of them then I'll say why not and spend the 125 dollars
