Engine hunting

I just had the gas tank filled up and they overfilled it. Now the engine is surging when I am driving and when I come to a stop it starts hunting and has cut out twice,Do I have to rest the on board computer to rectify this problem

take out the mass airflow sensor, with a star set t20, or a flat head screw driver, clean it with carb choke cleaner, that should take care of your problem
