call a dealer give them the radio info and they will be able to give you the code. hopefully its a different one then yours.

sorry thought you needed code. you need to turn the ignition on and radio on "wait" will show up on screen, wait 20 minutes (maybe more )" wait" will then go away and " code " will appear. at this time you enter your code. again make sure ignition and radio are on the whole time.

one more thing ....the radio is on a different fuse(in other words when the car off you need to turn the radio off too separately)...how does that affect things? Thank you taking the time to respond...I appreciate your help! Carol

If the radio has nothing to do with the car being on(different fuse)...why would the ignition have to be on? btw I tried waiting 24 hrs..rehooked the battery and the same silly WAIT came on(never even got a chance to enter a code) so frustrating!

im doing some research and finding that the radio and key may need to be on for 24 hrs before it will go to code mode, the soonest would be 2 hours. i do remember the vw guys in the shop would have to do that on those vehicles. ( German autos )
