my soft top would not go down 1997 sl320using the switches who do i get it down manually

in your tool kit Benz supplied a key, one side an open wrench and the other side an Allen key, if not see the dealer, it cost about $20 or less. Behind the sun visors you will find a plug on each side, remove and insert the allen key and twist to the max limit on both sides, then go to the trunk on both sides you have the lock cylinders which lock the back, with the open wrench side unlock both sides, then insert the open wrench between the roll bar and unlock the compartment.
