HAD ALL TOP CYLS REBUILT TOP WORKED PUT TOP DOWN TO INSTALL THE HARD TOP, THIS SPRING TOOK HARD TOP OFF, BATTERY DEAD JUMPED NOW TOP WON'T RAISE

does the compartment cover open? does the light on the switch come on? if the battery is fully charged, the compartment open and still won't come up, check the pump located under the spare tire there is a relay also, there is a limit switch which I do not recommend playing with it.
