Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm not sure if you received my first e-mail.

When I push on the remote to lock the car the lights used to flash a couple of times.  Now it doesn't flash when I lock the car it only flashes when I open the car.

Also.  the digital thing that tells you how many gallons you have left until empty thats located up by the sunroof is stuck on 85 and hasn't moved and the light is out is there a fuse or something I should check for that??

As far as the lights, that's usually a setting that determines that. On most cars, you can choose whether the lights flash or not. Someone may have accidentally changed that when resetting your service reminder. On the fuel level, you have either a faulty display unit, or there is an issue with the fuel level sender. That would depend on if your analog gauge still works properly. If it does, it could also be an ECM issue. Sounds like a trip to the dealer. Most independent shops, like mine, are not very familiar with the workings of MB.

Thanks for the infor on the alarm. But with the display unit I believe that may be faulty because like I said the light doen't even come on and I can't navigate through other information it gives it's just stuck on the fuel read.
