Good AM. I have a 2001 MB ML-450. When I step on the brake, my instrument panel "brake light" comes on and beeps. Brake fluid level is ful; pedal is hard and brakes great. There is a switch on my brake pedal, could that be the cause? Any help appreciated.

Test the brake light switch by applying the cruise control and then depressing the brake does it disengage the cruise? IF, NO the brake switch is the likely causing the issue. Regards
