I think my voltage regulator has a problem. Where is it, separate or in the generator? How easy or difficult would it be to replace it?
Thanks, Ursula

All modern cars use alternators, not generators- the old cars had separate voltage regulators- the are part of the alternator now- are you just guessing what's wrong?
