I went to pass a slower car. Once passed, I came to the light expecting to turn right. Pressed on the accelerator pedal the car very slowly graduated to a faster speed but took forever as oncoming traffic was approaching. It eventually reached speed but happened twice this morning... What could cause this, a throttle actuator?

Hi- Have you found an answer yet? I am having the same issue. I believe it's the pedal position sensor. I purchased one online at Ebay, and now my mechanic cannot find where the part goes. Please let me know if you have resolved this issue, and if so, where the part goes and and what part it is. Thank you so much! - Carol
