I need a new thing that is attached to the trunk, over top of the license plate on a CLK 320 conv.

It's screwed onto the trunk itself with two screws, one on each end.  The screws broke off when I was raising the trunk lid and pulled up on this thing (whatever it's called).  Anyway, I need a new one and need to know, first of all, what  it's called and, secondly, where I would order one.

Take it into the dealers parts department. They will tell you what it is and order another one for you.
