Where is the wire in a 2002 cl500(w215) that controls the door Windows from going up and down when the door opens and closes?

Asked by Jfbenz210 Nov 17, 2016 at 05:44 PM about the 2002 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class CL 500 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the w215 when the door opens the window goes down and when closed
the window seals back up. It is no longer doing that just stays up and doesn't
seal properly. All the bottoms on the door work. Please help

Maybe the door switch is the problem but knowing Mercedes there are probably some electronics involved so there may be bad chip somewhere. You should get a wiring and electronics diagram for your car.

If it is not suctioning properly, you could have a bad vacuum line, my trunk on my CL500 was not suctioning when closed, so i changed out the vacuum pume in the trunk. good luck.
