The electric part of the back seat of my 2000 Chevy Conversion van stopped working.

Asked by GreenKirby Sep 15, 2015 at 01:58 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Express G1500 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've recently purchased a 2000 Chevy Express 1500 Conversion Van, and everything has seemed to run great! I replaced the spark plugs and wires, but now my back seat will not go up from the bed position when pressing the button. I've checked the fuses next to the driver seat under the dash, and the fuses under the hood. I don't seem to have any blown fuses. Any idea on what could have caused it? Any response is appreciated!

why am I taking the time to answer this? maybe some other guru might take this "problem" seriously, but I doubt it- anyway, find the motor that does the work, and check for power coming from the wire- that will tell you if it's the motor or something upstream- another first world problem-
