Car runs fine on highway, will die at a stop light

I have a P0455 code.  Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected
No service engine light.  Had a service engine lighti in Aug. same code,  replaced the gas cap, service engnie light went away.  Can this cause bad idle or car to die at a stop light.  Car runs fine on the Hwy.

Add the middle grade gas to tank and a bottle of Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner to gas tank.

Take vehicle out on road and hit the passing gear a few time this will help clean out the gum and carbon build up. Also check air filter.
