Mercedes Benz v6 diesel 642 engine wont crank with key.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This Benz is a V6 diesel 642 engine,all lights come
on when turning key on.but it does not crank when
tunning key to start position.I supplied the starter
solenoid with power then it cranked,I noticed that
there no fuel coming out of the bleeding niple,I
checke fuel pump in tank,noticed the is no power
while i turned on the ignition.I supplied the pump
with power pump with pump but it did not work.I
checked the airbag switch that breaks the power
from the battery it in good condition.So what could
be cutting the power supply to the starter Solenoid
and also the fuel pump?
