OK how do get it unlocked so I get it in drive

If stepping on the brake does not allow you to shift from park position, it is either the Shift Interlock Solenoid by the shifter or the brake light switch itself.

See if there is a small slightly raised pad near the shift rod. Your finger nail or small screwdriver should be used to remove it. Look down the hole with a flash light. There should be a "button" you can push which will hopefully allow you to put her in gear.
