2000 cavalier engine swap options?

I have a dead 1998 sunfire running a 2.2l engine. Would it
be possible to drop my sunfire engine into a 2000 cavalier?

Are they both the same or is one a 2.2 and one a 2200 or ecotec? If they look the same they shud bolt in the same. Unfurtunatley if they differ in looks majorly you will run in to wire issues where your sensors and plugs won’t match and half your sensors will be disconnected. You would need a harness and ECU in this case. BUT if you have the donor car and the time; anything is possible ;)
