My chevy cavalier wont start what could be the problem.?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving my chevy cavalier the other day and it ran perfectly fine, than i
shut it off went inside for a little bit and when i went to go leave the car
wouldnt start. It turns over and tries to start but nothing. Also the battery is
and has been fully charged even after driving it so i don't think it would be
the alternator I even got the battery cable connectors changed because of
little corrosion. The battery light is the only thing besides the check engine
light on the dashboard when i turn the key. Where do i start?

Check the fuel pressure. There should be a schrader valve on the fuel rail with a black cap. unscrew the cap and with the key in the on position press the valve and see if the fuel comes out. BE CAREFUL if it has pressure fuel will soot out. If it kinda dribbles out your fuel pump isn't supplying the engine with fuel.

Mine didnt start either and it was the relay or vapor lock. My husband just tapped the relay and vapor lock he said just let it sit. It started right up. I have 97
