Turning siginals not working

I have a 2000 cavalier chevy and the turning
siginals are not working on it I was told that there's
a piece you can buy that will fix the problem if there
is a piece you can buy can you please tell me the
name of it and where it's located so it can be
replaced

Well it should be looked at to determine what exactly the problem is. It could be the turn signal switch on the steering column, a signal flasher, burnt out bulbs, or a bad wiring connection.
