Instrument cluster drops out, blinkers stop, headlights turn on, airbag light sometimes

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My airbag light started intermittently coming on with the "ding" sound like
my seat belt wasn't fastened.  Then it quickly progressed to "ding" and the
Tach , speedo, and blinkers, cruise control turn off while the "check
gauges" & sometimes airbag or seatbelt lights come on.  I think the
headlights sometimes come on also.  If the headlights are on they do not
seem to turn off when it happens.

Also...for the past year or so the instrument panel lights along with the
interior lights will stop working intermitently (I very rarely drive at night so it
hasn't been a high priority repair)

Cummins engine..no mods, no radio upgrade
