Check for any damage that has frozen the motor or any relays and or wires lose or frayed? If you're offroading and go over bumps, rocks can jump up and tap your transmission and cause a little bit of a headache.
As long as you dont have the auto 4wd option you can take the motor off and use a wrench to select your transfer case gear back to 2hi
