how can i wire a 12 volt , 9 amp light bar directly to my blazer

I am a volunteer firefighter and would like to put a light bar on my blazer, the light bar is a 12 volt bar that has a peak draw of 9 amps and an average draw of 3.6. where can i get the power i need?

Easiest thing would be to buy a cigarette lighter adapter and plug it in there. It is fused at 15 amps, so it will handle the draw. If you're looking for a more permanent installation, you can purchase an aftermarket fuse block and fuse it at 15 amps and connect directly to the battery. Your lead wire would have to be at least 14 AWG if fusing at 15 amp.
