Transmission 2000 chevy blazer

Change transmission oil and filter on
my 2000 Chevy Blazer now when I put
it into gear it won't move forward or
backwards

Sometimes the trans are bad but with the fibers floating around they help engage the trans. Once u clean it, etc. no more friction from the wear and tear u hsad ...so than trans won't engage. But still look around, did u accidentally disconnect, cut, etc. something?
