Mds on ram 1500

Asked by Fordlife Apr 16, 2019 at 11:19 AM about the 2006 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: General

I see that you all have an issue with the mds. O6
and up if you pop your hood. You find a little
sensor. Its for the ambient air temp. Unplug it. It
will cut the mds. You will get a code but you will
know what its for

This may hurt your fuel economy. Use the tow/haul feature instead or buy one of the devices that disables the MDS.
