2001 Chevy Tracker

Asked by Kimberley Oct 05, 2016 at 08:56 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Tracker 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter left the keys in the ignition and on all night...we thought the
battery was just completely dead and that is why it wouldn't start.  After
attempted jump starts, replacing the battery and one of the nuts that holds the
battery on...still nothing.  No power what so ever.
Any ideas?

Check voltage on battery, should read minimum 12.4vdc. If battery is good, check battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight. If everything checks out ok, check voltage at starter solenoid small terminal when u try to start it
