2005 dodge ram low power

I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 with the 4.7 liter V8. It is losing power, cutting out on
acceleration, gets poor gas mileage and won't restart when i shut it off until it sits for30-45
minutes.

probly bad catilatic converter or muffler cats will bog down the moter becuse there like a mesh inside not mess mesh it expands with heat look if really blue or get heat sencer pointer and check temp refer to specks
