2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7

I have a 05 ram 5.7 been having rear  differential problems
I no there was a recall on that it was fixed a little over a
year ago but now it makes a  whining noise sounds like
bearing I hear that there a lot of problems with these rear

Hi, do you notice the noise all the time, or does it change when turning corners one side or the other? If it does change while turning get louder etc. it may be a wheel bearing. Was it a Dodge dealer that did the fix or other? the ring an pinion gears a crucial to get the correct lash and will make noise and prematurely wear if not set correctly.

It does it all the time I no it's not a wheel bearing. When they did the recall for the rear axle pinion nut the replaced the ring an pinion and bearings then about 6-8 months later been making noise ever since
