Water leaking from bottom of the motor

Asked by Darkillian_3 Jan 15, 2017 at 02:52 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have water pouring out of the bottom of the
motor on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. It's leaking
from what looks like a round hole behind the
passenger side tire. Any ideas if it's a bad plug or
what?

If cold weather caused the engine to freeze you need to use a stronger anti-freeze ratio in your radiator. Read the anti-freeze bottle for instructions.

Did you find/fix your coolant leak? I've got same issue on 2nd motor, leaking in exact same spot as 1st motor.

I fixed this problem with high temp. Gasket sealer from harbor freight. Just had another leak back side of Same motor 4.7 02 dodge ram circular recessed spot same as before this time back of motor I will use Same high temperature gasket sealer. Clean with a wire brush. An drain water by pulling bottom radiator hose
