Elect. window won't work from pass. door switch.
Pass. side elect. window switch replaced but still not working but can control from drivers door switch.
Check the wiring in between the door and the main body of the truck. Sounds like a broken wire. HTH. -Jim
Thanks for your answer, I'll try that next, funny you would think it would happen on drivers door since it is used more than the passenger side door. Thanks again .
You're welcome. Glad to help. Thank you for the best answer click! That's true. It is usually the driver's door that wears more. There's 3 wires on the passenger's door switch. Believe it or not all three are hot (+) and the motor is grounded to the chassis by being bolted or riveted to the door. The electric motor is reversible. Push the button up and power feeds from the center wire on the door switch to the up wire on the motor. Same is true for down only now the other wire is energized. When you use the driver's control the center wire is bypassed and power feeds directly to one of the other two wires for up or down. That's why I believe you have a broken wire at the passenger's door jam. HTH. -Jim
I never understood electrical issues that well but your explanation sure makes things more clearly now on that problem. Thank you so much .
You're welcome. Glad to help. -Jim
