I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi, idling jittery, what could be my problem?

Asked by nlpicotte Jan 21, 2016 at 09:11 PM about the 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I believe i got bad fuel at a local station, my truck started idling terribly,
almost didn't want to idle (but has never died). We changed the "16 spark
plugs", o2 sensor, all eight coil packs, and also the emission purge solenoid
(as these are what codes came up on the OBD reader).  I put fuel
(seafoam) stuff in the gas, still, doesn't idle right. Ran down the gas to put
fresh stuff in to no avail. Could this be my fuel filter or my fuel pump?

I doubt it is the fuel pump unless you have really low fuel pressure. I would go ahead and replace the filter as it probably needs replacing anyway. Did any of the codes reappear? I would also use a good water remover like Heet.
