Will not idle. Shuts off

Asked by Rsens01 Oct 29, 2014 at 06:06 PM about the 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a used 1500 with a 5.9 and 165k miles, drove it for a few days and got a misfire
code. Replaced the plugs wires cap and rotor and the truck hasnt idled since. I checked
the fuel pressure and pulled all of the plugs and rested them on the motor to test spark, I
have spark and fuel. I cleaned the throttle body and replaced the IAC valve and the TPS.
I bought fuel treatement and (the truck runs if I sit there giving it gas) ran the truck to
running temp, still shuts off when I let off the gas.

I've been told I should get OE parts... But I'm tired of throwing parts at this thing. Any
help?!
