How many qts of oil for 2001 6 cyl dodge pick up

The owners manual will tell you----if you dont have it, I would start with 4 quarts, start and run the engine for a few minutes, turn off the engine and let it sit for about 30 minutes to allow the oil to drip into the oil pan. Check the level on the dipstick, If the level is between the full and low markings, then it's good. If it is closer to the low mark, I would add 1/2 quart.
