Asked by Bonnerboy360 Jan 02, 2020 at 10:52 PM about the 2001 Dodge RAM 1500 ST Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so I hooked jumper cables up to my truck and
reset the computer chip and it was running fine (it
was not before) thought everything was good I
unhooked the jumper cables and it died. It has a
brand new alternator and battery. What could be
the problem?

What did you do? You do not reset a ECU with jumper cables.
