Where can I get information about adding a jumpseat to my second row of captains chairs?

Question type: Car Customization

Need to seat 8 instead of 7... 2001 Suburban 2500 with grey leather buckets, and I'd be interested to install a jumpseat or replace entirely with a bench. Every time I google, it leads me to these forums but I'm not sure where to start on my own search!

I actually did this when we had our sixth child. I bought a middle row bench which matched the year, model, and interior according to my vin and yes, all the holes are for installing are already in the chassis under the carpet. My Chevy dealer would not install it but a custom car shop happily did.

We bought the front center jump seat just now on eBay! Looking for a tutorial/DIY on how to install now, if anyone can help. It's important to keep the captain's chairs in the second row due to how many carseats we have... Need easy access!

I know this is a year old, but did adding the front jump seat to the back captain's chairs work?
