HELP What does this hose go to??

Check to see if it goes to the coolant overflow reservoir from the radiator.

Update: I followed the hose to the rear of the truck and it connects to a black cannister sae pp gf15. Is this hose suppose to be connected to something in the engine compartment? ALSO, There is another smaller hose running to a circular canister next to the other rectangular cannister, this hose looks named on and is broken, I've also found the same size hose running along the passage front wheel well inside the engine compartment that is broken off, goes no where and has air running in it when engine on, could these two hoses be the same hose broken?

Is this a 4-wheel drive? and is the check engine light on? What you describe sounds like the vapor canister which is rectangular in shape, and the other is either a leak detection pump or a the canister purge valve. No it is 2wd, I did find out it is a vapor cannister, and neither hose is connected, they are both missing a good portion of hosing. The check engine light is not on. I was able to find a youtube video that traced these particular hose, so I will check later (husband has truck) to find out if I am correct. If I am correct, how important are these lines and should I repair them??

Hey, just got back from err-ens. Yes it is important to have this hooked up. I'm surprised that the check engine light is not on. So that is what I was thinking, the hose have to do with the EVAP system. There usually is a routing diagram under the hood.

So watching the video I found, I took a screen shot of the part that I assume the hose attaches to, I will share the photo, the arrow points to the hose that I assume is my mystery hose leading to the evap canister, the part that I circled I have no idea what it's called, but this part is not present in my truck at all. I will post a picture following this post of my truck (my truck is the silver one not the red one, for clerification.) Note: I bought this truck used a year ago, so I don't know if the missing part ever existed in my truck at all or was simply eliminated entirely by previous owner.
