Question type: Car Customization

I need to swap my dashboard in a
99 Dodge 1500 Laramie. What
models can I use? Looking for
something without the dry rotted
plastic.

I would talk to an upholstery shop. They may be able to recover the one you have which would be way less trouble than trying to swap another on it.

My best bang for the buck came on ebay. I found 1 for bout $225. If you decide to replace the dash, the most time effective/and easiest way to do this is to remove the entire dash as an ass'y. It's surprisingly easy compared to doin' the replacement..."in the pickup." From start to finish when I foinly decided to remove the ass'y. Approximately 3 hours AND as a bonus, you can clean and refurbish the A/C plenum n vents. After you install the new one, don't forget to use an aluminized windshield cover to protect the plastic from those pesky UV rays.
