My 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 is losing oil pressure I
hear a ticking sound but don't know what it is any
suggestions??

If it's ticking the lifters are the first things to start making noise, shortly after that bearings start running dry and total engine failure is next. Tow it to a shop and have the oil pump, pickup screen, and new filter replaced before you totally destroy the engine, if it's already not too late.
