I have a 99 dodge dakota 5.2 4x4 and I have an 98 dodge ram 1500 5.2 4x4 I was wondering if I could swap the motor and tranny from one to another withoutb issue..

hi you may have to swap the oil pans and the pick up tubes as well as the exhaust manifolds ....the only thing with the trany might be the rear mount will have to be changed.....// you can forget about swapping over the pcm (main computer) your vin numbers are burnt into them and will not work if you move them to another vehicle ...// it may start but will not communicate with other modules causing stuff not to work
