My 1997 Dodge Ram (151,000 miles-5.9 V8-4-wheel Dr) vibrates like I'm driving over ripples in the road. These vibrations are most apparent when braking .At higher speeds (55-70 MPH), the vibrations smooth out New disc pads on front wheels. Brake shoes on back wheels have not been examined for wear or problems. All 4 wheels have been balanced. U-joints are good. Any idea what might be the problem? Many thanks for your help. If this isn't the "death wobble" of a 4WD, you might have the rotors checked or replaced for outta round.

Also, check all of the front end parts for proper operation.
