Overheating

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 v8.
Recently I have been having trouble with the
truck overheating. I replaced the thermostat
and put new lines in it.  I have flushed the
radiator and heater core. I just replaced the
radiator and now I am see smoke coming
from just underneath the spark plugs. Truck
still is overheating. I don't know exactly what
is causing the smoke.

try checking compression, maybe blown head gasket..

Exhaust restrictions can also cause the engine to overheat. The exhaust carries a lot of heat away from the engine, so if the catalytic converter is restricted, or a pipe has been crimped or crushed, exhasut flow can be restrricted causing heat to build up inside the engine...
