how do you recalibrate the computer in a dodge ram pickup 1997 360 engine

It will do it on its own typically, you need to complete a series of specific drive cycles to calibrate the computer.

In addition to the above, when you do these drive cycles make them from cold start to full temp. Depending on the condition of your sensors three to four cycles will do it.

A cycle consists of starting the vehicle from an ambient temperature doing your normal driving and then allowing the engine to cool down to ambient again before restarting.

allso if you disconect the battery power to the truck it should reset itself.
