Trying to start truck after sitting for a while. Sounds like it is not getting any gas. How do I trouble shoot?

release the gas pipes and see if gas comes out when the motor is turned

Released gas pipes and no gas came out when engine was cranked. What is the next step in trouble shooting?

you need to check for a blockage in the gas lines, blow them out with compressed air, and also replace the gas filter
